how many pictures will a Polaroid 7MP digital camera with 16MB of internal memory hold?
im getting a digital camera for christmas and want to know if i should buy a memory card right away.its a polariod 7MP and has 16MB of internal memory.

7MP – seven mega pixels per picture, this means that the camera is capable of having a picture with 7megapixels or a size of 7Mb per picture. You can check what is the actual highest and lowest quality picture the camera can take and which one you like. a 1.3MP might be too small and lacking in details for you, a 3.2MP would be just right for a 12″ computer screen, while a higher 5MP picture would be good for poster size or blown up pictures.
Each different size of quality of pictures would provide you different memory requirements. If you go for the highest quality, you might have 7MB per picture which makes your camera roughly handle 2 pictures. If you use the lowest setting you might get 100KB per picture which gives you almost 16pictures, but you might not want the quality of these shots.
I would rather suggest that you get a memory for the pictures, they are cheap now adays anyways. get a 4GB and take as many shots as you want and at the highest possible setting too.
