My dad has a telescope of 40 "Solar Max. He wants me to be able to connect my Canon S3 IS to it but not sure what equipment / adapter you need. Could we get a link or suggestion. * Thanks has tripod and everything to keep its baby, we just have to "plug" to get my camera connected.

You need to provide an adapter to connect the telescope to your Digital Camera. The adapter must have appropriate properties to ensure that the image formed makes good use of the area of the CCD in the camera.
