How long does a Canon camera battery last, after a full charge?
Does anyone have a Canon: IXY 910IS or IXUS 860IS or SD 870 IS? (It's the same camera, but the different models in different countries). How long does the battery last after charging? Will it last Full day trip? I take lots of photos. Thank you!
Based on their previous model of the SD850 IS (in terms of battery consumption, all Powershot SD are quite similar), the battery was rated for around 250-300 shots with the LCD screen, and about 600 rounds if you're using the viewfinder with the screen LCD off. If traveling for a whole day, I think that should be enough, but I'm sure he'll be grateful for a spare battery handy.
