What is the best way to photograph an old photograph with a Canon digital SLR?
My camera is a Canon 30D I need a tripod special?
no you do not need any special tripod and tripod work if your working copy that will do and if you do not need a tripod. I do not know what the other guy was talking about? would require the camera to be parallel to the picture and make sure the image is perfectly flat. tape to the wall or turn to the wall as another person mentioned is a good idea. the lights are going to use (and you really do need a copy stand). should be pointed at 45 degree angles in the CIP, obviously. you can get fairly inexpensive tungsten lights any good camera store and just use a blue filter that comes with that picture doesn't yellowing tungsten lights people in the camera store those too. i posted a link that has a diagram and more in depth description. but this is the crux of the issue.
