PLEASE HELP [digital cameras] 10 points?
I want to buy a Canon or a Sony Digital Camera that is less than $ 400. There are so many to choose from, I do not know what to get. I would also like a video that has a very good film, because I want to be able to make vlogs and perhaps about makeup tutorials and stuff ….. What camera do you suggest? What camera do you use, and what makes it great? That does not have to be Canon, but I prefer Canon or Sony

How to play MOD files and convert MOD TOD Video files to AVI WMV MPEG MP4 FLV VOB MOV MKV MP3
This is an article about what’s MOD, how to play MOD files and convert MOD TOD Video files to AVI WMV MPEG MP4 FLV VOB MOV MKV MP3.
Part 1. JVC camcorder, Cannon FS100 camera and other similar cameras record their movies as .MOD files. A question thus arises, what’s MOD format, how to play MOD files on Computer?
.MOD files are actually MPEG-2 files with AC3 audio, similar to a VOB file on a DVD or the M2T files used on Sony hard drive camcorders, this video file format is used on many digital camcorders, such as the JVC Everio, the Canon FS100 and the Panasonic D-Snap SD-card camcorders. For playback, I liked the VLC player the best. An alternative player is MPlayer (but it played my movies rather slow).
Cuz MOD Video files are not supported by windows media player, windows movie maker and iPod, iPhone, PSP, Zune, Creative Zen, Blackberry, etc portable MP3 MP4 Players, Cell Phone, so if you want to import MOD files from your camcorders to edit on windows movie maker, or play on iPod, even burn to DVD Disc? You may need to convert MOD Video files fist, here is a tutorial that will outline one method of convert Canon Panasonic JVC Everio MOD TOD files to AVI WMV MPEG MP4 FLV VOB MOV MKV MP3, etc common video formats.
Part 2. How to Convert MOD Video files to AVI WMV MPEG MP4 FLV VOB MOV MKV MP3

Step 1. First copy the .MOD file from your Video Camera to your hard drive. then install and run Daniusoft MOD Converter, Click the “Add Files” button to browse your computer hard disc and load the MOD/TOD video files you want to convert to the software.
Step 2. Output Settings
After you import MOD TOD video files, you are allowed to select an output format for each video file and specify a directory on your computer to save the output files, If you want to convert mod/TOD video for portable device and don’t know which formats your device supports, you can just select the format according to the device name.
In the output settings area you can click “Settings” button to customize the output parameters like video resolution, frame rate, bit rate, encoder, etc, if you want to make things simple, the default setting also works well.
Step 3. Click “Start” button on right bottom of the main interface, you are allowed to start conversion.
Part 3. How to crop/ trim/ effect the MOD TOD video files to improve the output Video quality(Advanced Function Optional)
After importing video files, please click “Edit” button to access to the Video Edit panel.
Crop – adjust video size, Cut off the black edge of your video to let you enjoy your movie in full screen by click the ‘Crop’ button.
You are allowed to finish cropping by the following three ways:
Dragging cropping frame – Move your mouse cursor onto one of the eight small adjustment boxes on the cropping frame (the dashed line) and drag the crop frame to crop the DVD file such as cutting off top and bottom black bar. The cropped result will be shown on the Output Preview at the same time.
Selecting aspect ratio – You are allowed to select an output aspect ratio from the Zoom drop-down list. There are six choices available: Keep original, Full screen, 16:9, 4:3, Letter box and Pan & Scan.
Setting the values – Type the value directly or set the value in “Left”, “Right” and “Cropped area size” area to set the position of the cropping frame.
Trim – Clip video segment, trim any segment of your MOD Video clips to convert.
Similarly, it also offer 3 ways to realize trim function

Video Effect – Switch to “Effect” tab and set the video effects as you want: brightness, contrast, saturation and Deinterlacing,etc.You can also choose the effect such as Emboss, Gray,negative,old film,or just no effect, which depending on your choice. All the progress you can preview clearly.
Design watermark – If you want to add some personal information either in text or image form as watermark to decorate your video, you can realize it by click “Watermark”.
After you convert MOD/TOD Video files with Daniusoft MOD Converter, you can import MOD Movie from your camcorders to Windows Movie Maker, iPod, Zune, etc without problem.
