the difference between adobe bridge / light room / and my Canon zoom browser software?
Hello everyone, I just shot some pictures in RAW today, and wondered what the best software for viewing / editing of RAW images is. I have: Adobe Bridge, Lightroom and Canon's software (which comes with the camera) Canon Zoom Browser EX. I'm not sure what these programs in terms of features, which is the best, and I should be using …! User Images RAW? Thank you.
Adobe Bridge is not a RAW converter. It's just a file viewer / organizer program that is part of Photoshop CS2 and CS3. It can be used to process photos in RAW format. Zoom Browser is a basic RAW processor, but may leave much to be desired in terms of speed and function. Light Room has a lot of properties adjustment in Photoshop, but without all the huge and varied skills to manipulate photos. Light Room Whether or not it accepts that the Canon RAW files or not, I'm not sure, but * think * that does. If you have Adobe Bridge, then obvioulsy Photoshop … Right? Just open the RAW photos in Photoshop, and Adobe RAW converter will open, and can be adjusted and the process RAW your photos there as well then do any editing in PS as you want without having to bounce around from one program to another. steve
