Canon Digital Cameras extend their EOS series with 12.8 megapixel EOS 5D. A full frame CMOS sensor with Canon’s professional EF lenses provide a good overall imaging experience. DIGIC II imaging processor enables speedy image processing with start-up time of a mere 0.2 sec to shutter speed of 1/8000 sec. The Canon Digital Camera further offers a continuous shooting speed of 3fps.
Canon Digital Cameras recently launched EOS 1000D, which is a 10.1 megapixel digital SLR Camera. The 7-point wide area AF system offers up to 3fps continuous JPEG shooting with the available memory. The camera comes with a 2.5 inch LCD screen accompanied by a large viewfinder for effective subject framing even in very bright conditions. It is fully compatible with all canon EF and EF-S lenses and EX- series Speedlites. A compact and ultra light body further adds to the portability of this Canon Digital Camera.
The PowerShot A1000 of Canon Digital Camera series has been replaced by IS A1100. The maximum aperture size varies between f/2.7 to f/5.6 across the zoom range is based around a 2.3 inch LCD screen. 12.1 megapixel CCD image sensor coupled with DIGIC 4 image processor have the capability of delivering quality images. It offers a 4x optical zoom lens for quality captures in situations which requires constant zoom. A1100 features auto red-eye correction, which accurately detects and neutralizes the red-eye effect caused by flash.
