which is better Canon Powershot SD 990 (Ixus 980) or Panasonic Lumix LX3?
I want to buy a new camera and am debating between the two. I tried to read but its too technical forums with ISO and wide-angle lens and manual modes, and so basically I want to be able to shoot dark background, for example, a image of someone standing in front of a Christmas tree lit at night with the person and saw the Christmas tree, or a child running. What characteristics I look for in a camera to do that? that the two will allow me do that? thanks
