Canon lenses?
What would the cost of the lenses of the Canon PowerShot S3 IS? I would like to buy a stronger lens but do not want pay more. What size lens you suggest (I want one that will be able to approach the objects farther distances)? I know nothing about lenses. Any help is appreciated.
Canon makes a teleconverter that will fit into the camera. It is quite expensive, but does a satisfactory job. All unmarked add lenses let you down. If you buy something, buy the Canon brand! but … I read your profile and looked at his photographs. The photos were very nice, actually quite surprising taking into account basically nice, but it remains a point and shoot camera you are using. It seems to have an interest in, and some skills and talent to photography. If you have a budget that enables ie it may be time to enter a more flexible camera that best make the type of photography you enjoy doing, and accessories allow you to add some real high quality lenses, you can not do with your S3. I would not give any additional dollars in accessories that only S3 limited and will Flexability dubious quality, and most likely will not work on anything else when you upgrade the camera (and looking at his work, sooner or later you). I am a working professional photographer and use Canon equipment in my studio so obviously prefer Canon camera systems (and others would happy to explain why, if you're interested). A digital SLR Camera from Canon will make a nice upgrade for you. You can find new entry-level digital rebels from just under $ 600 and used is not a bad place to start if the new just costs too much. EBay usually has a good used Canon DSLR purchase, provided that but a seller established (in the lease of 25 or more transactions) with outstanding feedback. I have successfully bought (and sold) many picture items on eBay. I hope I have given some food for thought …
