Sony W120 (~ W150)? Or Canon PowerShot A590 IS?
Which is fine to buy? Sony W120 (~ W150)? Or Canon A590 IS? In terms of features and image quality and convenience for non-professionals? All I know is: The Sony W120 (~ W150) – PRO: easy to use. – PRO: I like having a trigger smiles. – WITH: sometimes the pictures are grainy. The Canon PowerShot A590 IS – PRO: its features are pretty good (my friends who are professional photographers are impressed, although the features I look normal). – PRO: impressive features for a cheap price. – WITH MAYOR: too big for me to go. I have been using Canon Cameras long before. But now I want to buy a Sony one (just for testing). However, I am still broken. I want to buy the A590 IS for its stunning features. I want to buy the W120 (~ W150), because it is a piece of user friendly (I am not a professional but I seem to have good pictures of my friend using W120/W150). Therefore, you need good advice. SOS. Help!
I've used both W170 and trust me 590IS and the Canon is much better than Sony. Here are my reasons: Sony W Series:-Con: optical lower compared to Canon. The Carl Zeiss brand is a big trick. The image quality is by no means near Canon.-Con: poor Macro-Con: colors under sunlight are sometimes more brilliant especially saturated colorful flowers. Annoyed-Con is very "friendly" is another word for "Control is not at all in its power" .- In: poor battery life. Sony comes with a proprietary battery (expensive) .- Pro: Very small and attractive. Can be lost if not careful. Canon 590IS-Pro: manual control Excellent (). Freedom!-Pro: Very good reproduction of Color.-Pro: Even though it is very convenient bulky manejar.-Pro: Amazing performance / precio.-Pro: Provides a great learning experience. Many digital SLR owners started with this camera, including Myself.-Pro: Uses AA batteries simple.-Con: It comes with the E18 lens horrible mistake … Do not Drop It!-Con: After sales service is not as good as Sony. Is a trademark of Canon. Errors images of both models: 1> get noisy images in ISO moderately high 2> Zoom is poor, and using the zoom (optical) lack of sharpness
