Digital Camera with LI-ION rechargeable battery?
Looking for digital camera using LI-ION instead of AA batteries. Is there a good comparison site where I could specify cameras with Li-ION only? Not looking for a lot of bells and whistles, just an easy to carry, easy to use camera for vacations, etc. Range under $200.

This link is about prolonging the life of lithium-ion batteries. Charge slowly and store with half charge in a cool place. Avoid full charge and high temperature storage or very low charge as both can damage batteries.

CAUTION To prevent memory card corruption, keep batteries charged, format in camera, and don’t delete or fill card completely. Wait for lights to stop flashing then turn camera off before removing memory. For card readers, double click Safely Remove Hardware. Select, then click Stop and OK.

In new cameras, look for a viewfinder (LCD invisible in bright sun), optical image stabilizer, and check battery prices. High mega pixel settings take longer to process and may not be needed unless required for very large pictures. Maximum print size for a 3 mega pixel setting is 8 x 10 inches.
