My digital camera’s (Canon A620) battery door is broken. Can it be fixed? I ordered that part?
(battery door) fromCannon. However, no repair place is able to fix it. Where should I take it? Should I send it to Cannon? Some camera forums advises not to. Please help if you can. Thank you.
Who advised not sending it to Canon? They made the camera, so they’d be the best ones to fix it. Do you have a pro camera store in your area? Ask their opinion. They can even send it in for you. Is it still under warranty?
There are very few camera repair places these days. Good camera repairmen are a dying breed. The only one in my area takes extended fishing breaks (he’s an old dude) Older cameras were much easier to repair. Modern cameras are a lot trickier, so I’d only trust sending it to the manufacturers, but that’s just me.
