What’s the best digital HD Video Camera to buy?
I’m looking at buying a camera and I’m wondering what’s my best option.
It depends on what filming conditions you will be using it in. Vacation, home videos, low-light, full-light, professional, amateur, and so on.
Also what editing platform do you have in place? If you have a PC with Windows Movie Maker or a Mac with iMovie, your bet bet is to stick with a camcorder that records to digital8, miniDV, or HDV tape (since your computer is built for it). If you go with one of the newer tapeless models like AVCHD, you will need to spend more money on upgrading your video editing program to something better that will accept and handle the AVCHD or other formats.
