What setting should I use on my digital camera to reduce my cat’s red eye?
It only has a few settings and I’m not sure what they are called but here are the images I see;
A shaky hand
AUTO
A woman’s face
A mountain
A person with the moon out

This will be very difficult, if not impossible, for you to do simply because I am almost sure you are using the typical, tiny, on camera flash. Right? The flash is too harsh and concentrated a light source, plus it is too close to the lens. A cat’s eyes are far worse about the “red eye” problem than the human eye.
You need a larger light source with proper diffusion, such as studio lights bouced through umbrellas. The lights of course are mounted off camera far away from the lens axis.
You will just have to learn how to fix the problem in post processing in the computer with a program such as PhotoShop.

- How many pictures can the camera take? The camera can support SD cards up to 8 GB’s. If you use the native 5MP setting on fine quality you will get a photo roughly sized at 5MB, which means for each 1 GB of memory you could store 200 photos. So, for a 8 GB card you could store 1600 photos.
