"The card is not initialized" FinePix A820 Camera?

I have a camera. It's a FinePix A820. It's a beautiful camera that I reeally given for Christmas. Not unitl I had no problem with it so far. I lost the cable used to connect to the computer. So instead I have a slot memory card in my computer that I used to load all my photos to the computer. I uploaded the pictures and then erased from the memory card (as they always do to use the cable.) Since it is as if the camera does not recognize the memory card. The memory card is a Fujifilm xD-Picture Card 1 GB H. Every time I turn on the camera, my card has the message 'initialize'. What should I do? Any .. ideas? Thans in advance! x

Easy, reformatted the card Click icon on the right .. Press the Format button and press start. Voila! Hope this helps, but make sure they have nothing important on the card ….
