Can Digital Camera software contain adware?
I have Kodak camera software installed on my computer. Every time I run an anti-spyware scan, there’s always this adware called “When U Save Now”. No matter how many times I delete or quarantine it, it comes back.
It is possible that the adware comes from your camera software (ask kodak about this) and it is also possible that it comes from other software you have installed.
You can test what is the source of the adware by :
- first you delete it with your anti-spyware program
- run a 2nd scan to make sure that your system is clean
- open your kodak software
- run a anti-spyware scan
- if the adware is detected then most probably it comes from kodak
- if it is not detected then it should come from another program you use
