Lumix Camera Cap
Any idea where I can find the lens cap for a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1?
This is an "old" Digital Camera 2.0 megapixels I have almost a year and I bought it for a friend with the lens cap missing. I tried to buy a replacement cap, but I get the same answer in all stores, do not have the old model. Thanks in advance, any clue / suggestion is appreciated.
My suggestion would be to call the service line Panasonic customer and tell them you have lost your lens cap and need it replaced. It can charge you, but some companies will replace it for you for free. Some companies that have extended this to me is curtousy Canon, Plantronics, and Belkin. You may have some luck with Panasonic. The other thing you can try is to take your camera to a local camera store and see if they have a lens cap that fits your camera. Most likely they will.
