Know of a Minolta 35mm camera that would work?
I have a Minolta SR-2 and T-101 Minolta and four lenses that fit both cameras. The SR-2 not have a light meter and the T101 has no worth mentioning, and I think there is something wrong with the camera body, too. Is there a model around the decade 1980 more or less reliable Minolta with good light meter that would fit the (good quality) of most lenses that I already have without having to buy adapters? fhotoace: I have a T101 SR, but there is something broken in it. I talked with a photographer and said the light meter was fine, so I think there is something wrong with the camera body, 90% the time I'm getting weird problems with overexposure and light even though the settings are correct. So I'm looking for something a little newer, less tired, I guess. Thus, a Minolta X-Series has a built in light meter (with batteries, I imagine) and would fit the SR series lenses I have, right?
Good news! SR-2 uses the Minolta MD mount lens. There are a lot of bodys that work perfectly with your collection of lenses, have meters large and are very cheap. I used a Minolta X-700 for 15 years as a professional photographer and never failed me. The camera bodys X has an excellent series of measurement systems. The X-500 and X-370 are versions lowest priced the same design. Someone mentioned the bodies of the TER. While they are great too are very old and most have serious problems of filling. I suggest you buy an X-series body of a known supplier of equipment used. http://www.keh.com is the gold standard for honest camera sales.
