Should I get a Nikon D400 or Canon 80D?
Should I get a Nikon D400 or Canon 80D? Note that this will be my first SLR and I am almost a beginner SLR. Currently I have an IXUS 550 and very happy with it. Both D400 and 80D are within my budget, the question is which? Are the glasses (which comply with this camera) face out quickly? I intend to use this camera body to say whenever I can. Your advice is most appreciated!
D80 admit that depends largely on taste. I own a D80, and have two good friends with the 400D. The real difference is very little in picture quality. Even if they have the same lens (like a lens of others) that the differences are hardly noticeable, and what differences exist, are subjective. But here are some reasons I do like the D80 more: The display offers 094 x Nikon vs Canon extension 0.8. For me, the viewfinder image is quite visibly bigger and brighter. The Nikon has a top LCD screen. This means it is easier on the battery life by not losing the photo preview screen for reading out the configuration. The Nikon has 11 autofocus points against Canon 9. I personally do not think it is significant to each other. Both Nikon and Canon matrix metering available, but the Nikon offers spot metering as well. That's a big advantage if you want to photograph a subject that is lighter / darker than the background. I also like the Nikon D-lighting in camera editing option. Allways is difficult to obtain the correct exposure when you have shadows under the trees on a sunny day, or if you take a picture inside with an exterior window. The Nikon D-lighting can be used to enhance color in underexposed areas later. I think the goal of KIT 18-55 Nikon is more robust and sharper than the Canon counterpart. It certainly seems more robust. Magnifficant kit lenses Nikon offers alternative for serious amateurs (18-70, 18-135, 16-85 VR 18-200 VR) vs. Canon 17-85 IS. The Nikon uses smaller and more widely used SD memory card, contrary to the Canon CF card. The DS is one of the cheaper forms of memory, is used in many mobile phones and PDA's, well, build-in card readers and photo printers are more likely to be able to read SD of CF. No wonder that the Canon 450D was also the route SD … Against this, the Canon has a role to dust on the sensor. Dust is a big problem if you change the SLR lenses much. However, the jury is still out on whether this feature really means that the Canon visit the cleaner less often than the Nikon. The fee is also smaller and lighter, but many others complain about the grip reduced because of this. Both are excellent performers high ISO. I've looked into the shootings Kenrockwell.com, and I find it very difficult to see significant differences. I "like" noise of the Nikon's more because it looks more like film grain, less "blue" in there a lot (for me) D80 points.The child has an increased role slideshow with music and transitions, which can be seen and heard, if connnected to a TV. I'd put this in the trick of "sales" category. Both Canon and Nikon have a lot of people, so they can not or will find varying degrees of usefulness. As to your second question, the lenses will probably survive the body. Keeping your point and shoot well. Allways There are situations where smaller (less intimidating) will mean that the capture of some memories that would otherwise have been lost. Good luck.
