So I'm going to buy my first digital SLR and need help deciding. I've been watching videos, reading reviews, comparisons and tutorials about that last week or so: b. I've cut down to 4 options (I would appreciate it if someone gave me a head until are so large.) before letting him enter the 4 cameras just wanted to say that I have a limited budget to spend on this, and I'm going to need a good general first aid kit Objective lens =). The four chambers, in order of favoritism – include Canon EOS 450D (rebel xsi) [not sure. whether it is more expensive i might not be able to get it: <) Canon EOS 400D (Rebel XTi) Olympus E-510 Nikon D80 Please help decide what to get =) Do not be shy to post a reply hugeass i like em read =) also advises on any matter are greatly appreciated =) thanks in advance: D
I actually have an E-510. It is a great camera, and so are others. I like Olympus for several reasons. They tend to be a better value. You get more features for the money and usually pay less than the competition. Lenses Olympus are designed for Digital Cameras and, according to many experts, produce better results than film adapted lenses for digital television cameras. Olympus Cameras use in the body is to work with all lenses, have seen live, long battery life, etc. As for quality, to my friends with Nikon, Canon, Pentax always amazed at how well the images that come out, Olympus has just underestimate as a company. Olympus has been making cameras more 70. I say go for the Olympus, you will not be disappointed.

Any tips for like greased lightning shooting next to bounce flash and DSLR camera?
I frequently miss the shots i am trying to get when shooting indoors next to a hot shoe flash. i spend too much time trying to position my flash to bounce in the right direction and cant attain the candid shot i was looking for. Any suggestions? Thanks surrounded by advance.

I ended up near a Polaroid 210 camera this weekend – the camera’s in great shape; it’s not the issue. In its carrying baggage were three, unopened boxes of Type 108(!) Polaroid show, with expiration date in the untimely 1970s. Everything’s still in the foil inside; I haven’t popped unscrew everything to check to see if the chemicals have hardened inside the pack. Now, the camera and case be all sitting within a dry, dark crypt for the last who know how many years, but I’m not expecting the results – assuming I can bring back any – to look normal when I try shooting this stuff contained by a couple days. Anyone have any perception whether or not the chemistry and everything has any break of being workable after nearly four decades, though? I’m gonna make available it a shot, either style, but I’m just curious.

The plastic casing broke within pieces. A piece of the plastic under the rubber broke past its sell-by date and the lens casing is within two pieces. I tried to put them back together and considered glue the plastic pieces on, but I can’t figure out how to acquire it back together properly… if it can even be done.

ASA numbers?
Recently saw a quick blurb around a camera that has ASA 2400. I caught freshly the tail end of a commercial. Think it be a Sony or Panasonic. I often obtain stuck taking business photos after dark and thought that ASA 1200 be the fastest/most sensitive. Any comments? The manufacturer websites are so loose and confusing, can’t ever seem to obtain realistic answers.

Backup Camera Nikon D70 or D40x?
I was given a brand alien Nikon D300 (18-200mm) today in exchange for one of my out-of-date cameras. (I know … crazy deal). Trying to decide which one I should receive rid of and why … Any one have any planning? Both D70 and D40x are in excellent condition. As added bonus the D40x have an extended warranty on it. I know I should probably keep the D40x but for some purpose am having a concrete time parting next to the D70.
Batteries for Digital Camera?
Okay, I bought a fairly cheap digital camera it’s a Sanyo VPC-5500. Anyway the battery that came within it are Duracell Ultras size AA. Well eventually they died like adjectives batteries do and I tried to put within regular AA batteries but it rejects adjectives of them and they are good battery. Why won’t it take them but will hold the Ultras? Are the Ultras designed for digital camera’s or something? Do you have to hold certain generous for camera’s? I thought since they were AA they would clutch any but the little light a short time ago flashes yellow and it won’t turn on similar to it rejecting them. So I was wondering if it’s purely the wrong batteries or the camera? The camera turned on for the Ultra ones but since they are low it turned sour a few seconds then but with the regular AA it doesn’t turn on at adjectives just flashes.
