What country are digital SLR cameras from Nikon and Canon made in? Japan? or not?
I wondered where they make SLR cameras Nikon and Canon digital, I'm debating getting a D300 or a Canon EOS 50D and my first digital SLR. I do not want to keep upgrading, so I decided only get one high end and still learning about it. Also, how long these last with daily use? I am not a professional photographer, but I love taking pictures occasionally. I would like to take pictures when I go out with friends, go into the garden to take some pictures of flowers, running rabbits, birds flying, and ISH alia photo. I used my Canon G10 "wants to be SLR" to maximize his skills. So now my question is are these two cameras Made in Japan? and how long can I expect to last as it is a great investment in a camera …. Also, thoughts on which one would be better?
A Nikon D300 or Canon 50D is much, much, the camera too much to buy for the occasional use of taking snapshots of friends and rabbits in the garden. You would do much better with a Nikon D40 or Canon Rebel. Do not spend more money buying a camera that will never use. Use the money you save to buy additional lenses are much more important and last much longer than camera bodies.
