I'm trying to get my first Digital Camera, but I've heard mixed stories about them, I'm a little confused. It does not help anyone in the electronics store really know anything about cameras. I am willing to go as high as $ 200 – $ 250 for a good quality camera. I'm looking for something compact and can slip in and out of the bag. A camera with everyday usability. I was watching the Sony Cybershot S650 and Nikon Coolpix L11 and was more impressed with the Nikon. Any suggestions would be welcomed on what to look for, problems with the popular cameras, and new suggestions.
Forget the Nikon L11 .. It has no optical viewfinder .. only screen in the back that is hard to see on a sunny day ..
