New Camera: Nikon D5000 a good choice?
I've been interested in photography for quiet some time. I have a one-year point age and shoot Nikon S550. In a couple of years i would like to move to a D-SLR. I Reliz that D5000 was obsolete by then, but could still buy one through of an electronics store (B & H) or a store that sells used Nikon camers. I like how the LCD monitor flips down for easy portraits and high and low angled shots. If you wish to suggest or add information that was in this matter would be greatly appreciated. If I'd also like to suggest some very angular or basic DX lens (the D5000 is compatible with DX), which also would be much appreciated. thank you very much for contributing to his opinion. I heard that gun is a very reputable company and that their lenses are exceptional. Thanks for making me aware of the risks they assume if I bought a camera used, I will not understand that, certainly a possibility.
The D5000 is a good choice. Canon happens to me and that's what I prefer, but Nikon also has excellent cameras. The screen folding thing is a gimmick. Any good photographer never used the screen but the viewfinder. The display gives you an accurate look at what you are getting. Buying used is always a risk and I would not. Who owned it? How many have owned it? Has been beaten or abused? Wet? Does the lens properly? Better to stay with the new equipment. Also, if you're really thinking that far ahead of the story and D5000 will be better cameras then. Objectives: I I use a 18-200 as my workhorse. It's wide at the bottom with a pretty good scope. I find it an all around good lens for virtually any situation I find myself.

When you hear people talk about digital photography most of us think about high priced or expensive, top of the range cameras. But it is possible to take great pictures when using the more affordable digital cameras. If you are just beginning photography tips on buying a good camera that’s within your budget can be very important.
