Why won’t my memory card work in my olympus fe-190 Digital Camera?
ok it’s like this: when i fist got a 1 gb memory card for the camera it worked fine. later on though it would periodically take me to a setup menu with the options of formatting the card or turning off the power. when i would format it though it would just say card error and the camera wouldn’t work unless i took the card out. then the card would do this all the time and i could never get any use out of it. i thought that maybe the card was damaged so i bought a new 512 mb card and it’s doin the exact same thing and hasn’t worked at all. the camera works fine without a memory card but i need space to store more pictures. am i doing something wrong, am i not inserting the card right or what? please help me if you can.
If you have tried both cards and both do the same it is the camera. Something is wrong with the card reader in the camera. you need to contact Olympus 1-888-553-4448 and they can email you all the repair info
