List you zoom, but specifies a 50mm? so if a zoom can be used with the teacher, I think that its not they want to show you the real picture of both films: in zoom things distrorts whereas a SLR of 50 mm is considered standard or close to the human eye for accessories such as UV, go get em strap check the issue first lens, personally, i wouldnt get the Eos, but something like a real camera manual, as a Nikon "F" series or Minolta "x" or a series canon AE1 or so a
