How I can connect my Panasonic camcorder PV-GS15 to my iMac G5 computer with a Firewire cable?
I connected everything and anything on my computer shows I even plugged it checked all the connections to make sure they were all inside, but nothing happens.
If the iMac is not showing that is plugged in, restart the iMac with the camera plugged in and recorded the connection. Is despite the fact that only should have to do this once. It is also how to remove the CDs that have "disappeared" from the desktop. Once the iMac is started again click the file> new project> and select iMovie video format you want to work then click OK> and import the images from your DV camera. Kodak has come out with a new version of what was their Z18 pocket video camera. This new model they have dubbed the Zx3 or PlaySport is really just a tweaked up version of the Z18 in a waterproof case.
They have made the case quite strong so it can handle rough handling (even dropping from a small height like a few feet) and coated in a rubberised sort of cover so it won’t slip out of your hand. This is mostly of benefit when using it while swimming.
Of the current range of mini pocket cameras this has got to be about the best package of features and performance.

Some users are saying they are very happy with the unit saying is very kid friendly being so easy to use and stand up to a bit of rough handling. Personally I think kids should be taught to handle equipment carefully and with some respect and not expect that highly technical and complex equipment be expected to be stand up to careless handling as many treat toys. But I can see these units being given to kids as a toy and that’s a pity because the unit deserves better than that. It may not be up to the more expensive equipment levels of performance but it still takes great pictures that people could only dream about a very few short years ago.
For someone who wants very good instant pictures and video this little unit is very hard to beat in performance, quality and affordability.
