Can I use a 35mm lens on a DSLR?
I want a Nikon SLR camera (like the D60?). I have a N50 with a 35mm AF Nikkor 28-85mm 1:3.5-4.5 lens. Can I use the lens on the camera body D60 or D90? And that works?
Yes, the lenses will be mounted to both bodies. However, unless an AFS lens or AF, no auto focus on D60. The D60 does not have a focus motor in the camera so it is necessary to use a lens that has one. These are the AFS and AFI lenses. However, you can manually focus. It meters correctly. The D80 and above all work with autofocus lenses.
